Inspire Design TV
Design TV
With us all running out of Tv shows to watch and spending more time at home thinking about our interiors and how we can make them more individual and personal. We wanted to share some of our favourite and inspiring design tv shows that are available either on steaming services or freeview.
Dream Home Makeover
The newest hot interior design tv show to hit Netflix Dream Home Makeover features Shea and Syd McGee and their company Studio McGee which they have grown over the span of 5 years.
The show focuses on Studio McGee working with clients with different budgets and size project from the start of the client meeting through to design proposal and end result. For us it is nice to see a show which is relatable in regards to the design progress with clients and watching them trust Shea with her vision and design aesthetic. Go have a look at more of their projects.

Genevieve Gorder helps home owners come up with creative spaces that will stand out from the crowd, while Peter Lorimer helps the owners write, market and discover the area where their property is positioned and how to get and maximum income out of their property.
This is a must see for anyone thinking of creating an Airbnb for some extra cash and it’s so nice to see beautiful spaces created for us all to eventually visit when this crazy virus is over.
Million Dollar Beach House
If you want to escape winter and be taken away to a glamorous house by the beach Million Dollar Beach House is for you.
Show is set in the Hamptons, USA with real estate team selling some fabulous, beautiful and rather expensive homes by the beach. Not only is there a bit of drama, which we know we all love from a tv show, but also transports us to the glamour of beautiful American beach houses and our fascination around the wealthy elite.
Million Dollar Decorators
An oldie but a goody Million Dollar Listings available on Amazon Prime focuses around 4 designers working on some exciting elegant interiors in California. The show is pack with drama, glamour and some very inspirational homes, but is very fun to watch the dynamics of the designers relationship with each other and their clients which can sometimes be direct (to phrase it politely)
Nate & Jeremiah By Design
You might know Nate as Opera’s go to interior designer and Jeremiah as Rachel Zoe’s fashion assistant turned Interior Designer, but these two seem to have a perfect balance of married life and business relationship. The two help home owners with their project disasters transform them into dream homes.
Ugly House to Lovely House
George Clarke is back on channel 4 for another season of Ugly House to Lovely House and with the first episode already aired this season, it doesn’t seem to disappoint.
Using exciting creative architects to come up with unique designs for houses that most people would run away from. We enjoy that the show highlights the clients trust to see the architects vision and trying to make it come alive. It shows that when the architects designs are followed the results are incredible.
